EU Framework 5- TUBA Project

TUBA - The Project

TUBA, derived from Transceiver and inertial Unit for Biomedical Application, was a European Union Framework Package 5 (FP5) project involving 6 partners, from across 3 EU countries.  The project, under Finetech Medical's management, ran for 3 years and combined experts from a wide range of disciplines.  Click here for TUBA - Key Facts.

TUBA - Finetech Medical's Outcomes

The core outcomes for Finetech Medical were:

  • a selection of innovations based upon the existing drop foot system that can be revisited in future revisions of the hardware. 
  • furthered experience of managing multi-partner projects.

TUBA - Dissemination (Papers, Reports, Presentations)

Dissemination from the TUBA project was extensive.  A selection of dissemination is presented below:
